fashion advice for real people
There are a few rising stars in the world of fashion design that stand out today, but no one’s star is shining more brightly than Eugenia Leavitt, whom the Toronto Fashion Incubator recently crowned as their 2008 TFI New Labels Fashion Design Competition winner.

Her winning collection featured clothes that were trendy, sassy, and hip, and you can view the entire collection for yourself here.
Eugenia Leavitt’s clothes definitely mix classic designs with contemporary fabrics and are truly striking. Her look is characterized as being very feminine, and always classic.
This is absolutely one fashion designer that you should keep your eyes on…I sure will be.
In my opinion the Bohemian look will never really be out, unless of course you attack it like Mary-Kate Olsen and then maybe you should just stay away from the trend entirely.
I think MK goes a little overboard with the whole Bohemian thing, but as long as you just play with a few pieces you can really be comfortable and stunning all at the same time.
Here are a few of my favorite Bohemian pieces that you will want to check out for yourself.

Okay so we already have news of clothing lines from Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port of The Hills, and now Heidi Montag is launching her own line, Heidiwood.
Not such a creative title, since we already have so many copies of the Hollywood name and this little Heidiwood thing reminds me of a lame spinoff of the lovely Dolly Parton’s Dollywood … but moving on.
Heidi debuted her new fashion range last week in Hollywood, looking cute in giant black stilettos and a skimpy zebra print halter top.
Her style is decent but I certainly do not think that sales will skyrocket for this clothing line she has just released.
Oh, did I mention that her boyfriend Spencer Pratt proposed to her on stage, giving her two dozen long-stemmed pink roses before kissing her on the lips?
So her clothing line may be a little stripper-esque and her claim to fame came from an … ahem … reality TV show, at least she and good ole Spence are happy.

Glamour Magazine has recently released their top ten favorite female celebrity fashionistas. Right at the top of the list as number one is Kate Moss.

Said Jo Elvin, editor of Glamour:
Kate’s back with a vengeance. Her maverick approach to fashion is an inspiration and shows us all how to be a little more daring and experimental.
As posted on the Damn I’m Cute blog, the rest of the list went as follows:
• Sienna Miller
• Scarlett Johansson
• Rachael Bilson
• Jennifer Aniston
• Alexa Chung
• Reese Witherspoon
• Jessica Alba
• Keira Knightley
• Victoria Beckham
Each of these women is well deserving of her place on the list, although there are a few that I think should have been included as well, like Angelina Jolie, Heidi Klum and Charlize Theron.
